Three Paramilitaries Killed by Guerrillas in India

Three anti-guerrilla paramilitaries of the “Jharkhand Jaguars” were killed Thursday, and two others wounded, in the explosion of an IED triggered by guerrillas in the Lanji Forest (Singhbhum District).

The ambush occurred when the paramilitaries made, with police officers, sweeping anti-guerrilla operations. The explosion of the IED was followed by a strong machine gun discharge from the guerrillas. The injured paramilitaries were transported by helicopter to Ranchi.
