Three Cops Killed in 10 Days by Guerrillas in India

The Naxalite guerrillas shot down a cop they had captured in the village of Bijapur in the Bastar district of Chhattisgarh state in central India. This is the third member of the police assassinated in 10 days in the region.

On one of the dead police officers was found a document explaining that he had been executed for participating in the death of several revolutionary guerrillas. The other two cops killed are members of the Anti-Guerilla Cobra commandos and a member of the DRG [district reserve guards], a paramilitary unit.
