Six Mercenaries Killed By Afrin Liberation Forces

The Afrin Liberation Forces launched a series of military actions against the occupying Turkish army and its allies near the cities of Mare and Azaz as well as in Afrin city center. One of their squads simultaneously assaulted a number of military points in the vicinity of Mare city on 19th of December, killing five occupiers and wounding several others. On the same day near Azaz city, their team targeted a Turkish-backed mercenary with sniper fire, killing him.

The Forces also planted an explosive device at the headquarters of the Sultan Mohamed Fatih Brigade in Afrin city center on December 20th, but no clear information could be obtained about the numbers of killed and wounded.

Finally, the Forces targeted a joint patrol conducted by the Turkish army and the Hamza Division mercenaries with an explosive device while they were driving on the road that connects Marate village with Afrin city center. The action resulted in the inury of one Turkish soldier and one mercenary.
