Students Clash with Colombian Police in Solidarity with Indigenous People in Cauca

On March 14, revolutionary students clashed with police forces at the University of Valle in Cali, during a protest in support of indigenous people in Cauca.

The day before, thousands of indigenous people blocked the Pan-American Highway in Cauca. The indigenous protesters are resisting the National Development Plan of the right-wing regime of Iván Duque. The Plan is set to further displace indigenous people and pillage their land. An increasing number of indigenous activists have been assassinated in the region, as well.
