People Fight Back Against Police After Black Youth is Killed in Minnesota

After the police killing of 20-year-old Daunte Wright on during a vehicle stop in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center on Sunday afternoon, hundreds gathered to fight back two nights in a row.

A patronizing attempt at counter-information propaganda about the incident has hit mainstream media outlets. However Daunte’s mother has clarfiied that her son was pulled over for having an air freshener - a common tactic used by police in the area to harass people.

Rocks were thrown at the police department, cop cars smashed, and businesses attacked in reaction to this police killing. The front door of the Brooklyn Park Police Department, about 8 miles from the Brooklyn Center Police Department, was struck by gunfire.

This incident has transpired near the trial for pig Derek Chauvin, the cop who killed George Floyd last summer.
