One TPNPB member was shot by TNI and Polri officers in Hitadipa West Papua

Gunfire between members of the TPNPB Free Papua Organization (OPM) and TNI (Indonesian military) and Polri officers took place again in Hitadipa, Intan Jaya, Papua on Wednesday (3/2/2021), at 4 am.

“Yesterday morning, February 3, 2021, at 4 am, a member of the TPNPB Kodap III Ndugaman, Company D Dulla was shot dead by the TNI and Polri at Intan Jaya,” said Aibon Kogeya, Operations Commander for Company D Dulla, Kodap. III Ndugama who was brought by Brigend Egianus Kogeya to suarapapua.com, Thursday (4/2/2021).

TPNPB claims shooting MAF aircraft at Intan Jaya. Aibon said the members were shot by the TNI and Polri in Dagomba, the end of Hitadipa airfield, next to the Trans road. “Peria Similar died in gunfire, when he was caught on the road at the end of Hitadipa field yesterday morning. Until now, his body is still being held by TNI officials.”

Revolt against three centuries of colonial rule by the Netherlands was meddled in by the United States in the 1960’s, instating Indonesian rule over West Papua. Since then, West Papua has engaged in a guerrilla struggled for liberation and against oppression.
