On the night of Monday, August 12th in Saint-Pölten, the headquarters of the far-right Lower Austria FPÖ party was attacked with rocks and Molotov cocktails.
Hooded comrades threw Molotov cocktails at the front of the building, located on Pukersdorfer Straße. The attack took place between 1:40 and 2:07 AM. The anti-fascists managed to force the entrance to the car park open and then threw several large stones and incendiary devices at the building, breaking several windows and blackening the facade. At around 2 AM, two militants returned to the scene to make sure that a Molotov cocktail had finished its journey inside. Nationalist propaganda inside the building was partially destroyed.
While the entire political class, from the SPÖ (Social Democratic Party) to the ÖVP (Centre-Right, Christian Democrats), condemned this “attack against democracy,” revolutionaries around the world are encouraged by this militant action against the forces of the state and fascism.
