Leader of Fascist AfD Party Severely Beaten in Bremen Attack

Frank Magnitz, the leader of Germany’s neo-fascist AfD party, was severely beaten in the city center of Bremen on Monday afternoon.

According to corporate media reports, Bremen was beaten by at least three masked men in the northern German city. The attackers reportedly knocked him unconscious with a piece of wood and kicked him in the head. He was hospitalized after the attack. He had a big gash on his forehead and severe bruising around his right eye.

The fascist AfD party entered the national parliament (Bundestag) for the first time last year with 94 seats and now has representatives in every German state parliament.

This is the second major attack against the AfD in the past week. A blast damaged the office of the AfD party in Döbeln, Saxony on Thursday evening.

As far-right parties like the AfD gain electoral victories around the world, anti-fascists are increasingly taking revolutionary actions in order to defend refugees and other communities they seek to target.
