On Monday morning, August 26, in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli occupation arrested nine Palestinan fighters in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
The PFLP said that “the large-scale arrests made by the Israeli army against our cadres, concentrated in Ramallah, will not stand in the way of our resistance on the ground.”
In a statement issued on Monday, August 26, the PFLP claimed that the occupation had always practiced all forms of systematic and ferocious war against the PFLP: assassinations, arrests and expulsions.
They stated that this repression “could not extinguish the resistance, neither surrender to this reality, nor negotiate the principles of the Front.”
These arrests come at the height of an Israeli state campaign against several counrties in the region; targeting Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria.
