On August 8th, guerrilla forces surrounded the Turkish occupation army in Pîrbûla Square, located in Haftanin, and killed 13 Turkish soldiers during the battles.
A group of Turkish soldiers in Pîrbûla area of Haftanin were surrounded by guerrilla fighters while they were moving in the early hours of this morning.
According to the information, 13 soldiers were killed in the battle that broke out between guerrilla forces and the Turkish occupation army.
The battles are still ongoing.
In the context of Heftenin resistance, the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) announced the death of 5 members of the Turkish occupation army that launched attacks on the region.
The Turkish occupation army has been continuing its attacks on Başûr Kurdistan regions since July 16 and until now, shelling villages and populated areas with civilians on a daily basis.
On August 5th, HPG announced the killing of 5 elements of the Turkish occupation army in the defense zones.
