DGH: Vehicles, Warehouse, and Workplace Torched in Turkey

Revolutionary Youth Movement (DGH) Coordination launched a series of attacks in Turkey to denounce the isolation of political prisoners and to commemorate martyr Baran Mawa.

Six vehicles, a warehouse, and a separate workplace were torched in the actions.

Between the dates of March 17-24th the vehicles and structures were torched and rendered unusable. Seven of these actions were in Istanbul and one was in Bursa.

The group, Şehit Baran Mawa Revenge Units, stated:

ISTANBUL

On 14 March at 04.30 hours a vehicle was set on fire in the district of Kazım Karabekir in Bağcılar district. After the action, the burned vehicle became unusable.

On March 17, 04.30 hours in the town of Kagithane district of Talat Pasha, a vehicle belonging to a person named Z.Ö was set on fire. The vehicle was unusable.

On March 17, at 00.30 hours, a vehicle was set on fire in the district of Hamidiye in Kâğıthane district. In this action, the vehicle that was set on the fire was burned down.

On March 20, 23.30 hours, a scrap warehouse in the İnönü quarter of Şişli district was set on fire. In this action, all of the junkyards were burned.

On 23 March, a vehicle was set on fire in Yeşilova neighborhood of Küçükçekmece district at around 00.15. The vehicle was destroyed.

A car was set on fire on 23 March at Piri Mehmet Paşa Quarter of Silivri District on 24 March. The vehicle was ruined.

On 23 March at 01.00 o’clock in the village of Ömerli in the Albanian village district, a warehouse of a four storey paper and packaging company was set on fire. The warehouse has become completely burnt and heavy damage has occurred.

On March 23, 01.00 hours, a car belonging to a person named SE was set on fire in İnegöl district. The vehicle has been burnt down..
