Clashes with Police After Demonstration in Memory of Ebuka in Athens

Demonstration in Memory of Ebuka in Athens

Several hundred people gathered on Tuesday to demonstrate against police and in memory of Ebuka, a Nigerian immigrant, who was murdered by police in Athens. Revolutionaries clashed with the police following the demonstration.

Ebuka, a 34 year old father of two children, was beaten to death by police at the Omonia police station on February 8th.

Police frequently attack and murder immigrants in Greece, as they do throughout the world. Revolutionaries must oppose this racist violence in solidarity with those targeted.
