Date of Execution Set for Revolutionary Keith Lamar

Revolutionary prisoner Keith Lamar, who is housed in an Ohio, detention facility has been informed the state intends to execute him on November 16th, 2023. The US regime, renowned for being one of the most systemically brutal in the world, also is known for having the largest prison population. The US also has the distinction of being one of the nation-states who executes its captives regularly.

Keith Lamar is a prisoner who was the victim of the racist US legal system. He was incarcerated as a youth and sentenced to 17 years to life in prison in 1989. He was politicized in prison and became a vocal critic of white supremacist US prison system and an active organizer.

In 1993, prisoners in Lucasville, Ohio, fought back against the prison’s racist policies. Lamar and several others were sentenced to death as a result, and revolutionaries have been fighting on his behalf ever since. He has already spent close to 30 years inside and has been in solitary confinement for approximately 25 years. He is a well known voice in revolutionary left politics, an advocate for black liberation, and an outspoken proponent of international struggle.

Resistance and support for Keith and other Lucasville captives is imperative.
