HPG: 2 Turkish soldiers killed in Heftanin

As part of the Battle of Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign, guerrillas carried out a successful action against the enemy forces on the Assassination Hill in the Xantur area of the Heftanin region on March 20.

Two Turkish soldiers were killed in an action carried out by the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) and Free Women’s Units (YJA) Star guerrillas in Xantur as part of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign.

The HPG Press Office released a statement detailing the action, which said the following:

“As part of the Battle of Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign, our forces carried out a successful action against the enemy forces on the Assassination Hill in the Xantur area of the Heftanin region on March 20, 2021. Two soldiers were killed, and the others were injured as a result of our action.”
